Victor Cruz Has a Debut For History Books!
Areal Standards may have been absent for sometime now, but for obvious good reason. Tonight all of you saw the accumulation of alot of hard work and belief. I couldn’t think of a better way of get things back up and running than with this post But even I can say I saw this coming..
Tonight Victor Cruz, a Umass Football standout, after having gone undrafted made the most of his opportunity to say the least. Kicking things off a beautiful one handed catch and score, my nigga Vic ran into the end zone, and never looked back. 6rec, 145 yds, 3 TDs later, My good friend and fellow Areal Standards Blogger, etched his name in the history books, al though be it preseason. Becoming the first player since Terrel Owens to record 3 TD’s in their debut preseason game. They are the only two on the list.
To say that I am surprised would honestly be a lie. Vic has always been an extremely positive person, someone who I learned alot from as our friendship grew while at Umass. Many times during our senior I told Vic that I truly believed he had what it took to make things happen. Obviously none of those words were needed, cause clearly no one believes more in Vic Cruz than the man himself. It is usually hard to find people with a desire and ambition like mine, and homeboy lacked in neither department.
Believe you me people, there will be much more to come from this kid. Humble as they come, I could see the focus on the field even after the damage was done! Goes to show that what matters is what lies in your chest. Congrats my G. We all proud of you, From NJ to MA. Do your thang boy, looking forward to whats to come!
